Debtors' Relief Project

The Debtors Relief Project (Gharimeen Initiative) is a humanitarian initiative aimed at helping individuals who are unable to repay their debts, especially those who have fallen into hardship due to difficult living conditions and are at risk of imprisonment or legal consequences. The project works to relieve their distress and give them a fresh start by collecting donations and directing them toward settling verified debts of those in need. This initiative represents one of the greatest acts of charity, as it alleviates suffering and brings hope to those in distress, in accordance with the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): The Prophet (PBUH) said: "Whoever relieves a believer’s distress of the distressful aspects of this world, Allah will rescue him from a difficulty of the difficulties of the Hereafter." — Reported in Sahih Muslim
