Water Provision Project
This project aims to provide clean drinking water in areas of need, either by distributing bottled water or providing sources of potable water. This is in line with the words of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: "The best charity is giving water." This project is considered one of the noblest acts of charity that a Muslim can undertake, as it reflects the values of giving and contributes to improving public health in communities suffering from a lack of clean drinking water. Providing clean drinking water is not merely fulfilling a basic need, but it is a means of creating positive change in the lives of individuals and communities. This noble act contributes to enhancing a dignified life, helps preserve people's health, and reduces the spread of diseases caused by contaminated water. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran: “And We made from water every living thing. Then will they not believe?” (Al-Anbiya: 30) This verse reminds us of the importance of water in the life of humans and all creatures, making providing water an act of great worship, as it is the essence of life. The Water Provision Project contributes to improving the health environment by supplying pure water, alleviating the suffering of many families in areas that face water scarcity or contamination. This work also carries significant humanitarian dimensions, creating a sense of community responsibility and cooperation among Muslims. Allah also says: “And We caused to gush forth for him from the sea a spring, so let them drink from it.” (Al-Anbiya: 9) This verse highlights the blessing of water and encourages gratitude to Allah for this blessing, which should be utilized to serve humanity. Providing clean drinking water is one of the most essential charitable acts that contribute to improving people's lives and health. Through the Water Provision Project, we help spread hope and mercy among community members, providing them with access to this fundamental blessing without hardship or struggle. Furthermore, this good deed benefits individuals and communities, bringing reward and blessings to Muslims in this world and the Hereafter.
